Juliana is a recipient of Wigs For Kids. Juliana was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma in May of 2024, her junior year of high school. Thankfully she is now in remission, and able to participate in and enjoy the many activities of her senior year. Juliana shared, “Waiting for and receiving my wig gave me hope and confidence.”

When Juliana found out she would be receiving a hairpiece, she partnered with her school to help pay it forward to another kid in need. Working with her high school’s Morgan’s Message club, a nonprofit providing mental health resources to student athletes, they sponsored a fundraiser called “Juliana’s Wall of Warriors.” The club sold lavender and gold ribbons for $1 each, with proceeds benefiting Wigs For Kids.
The lavender ribbons represented all types of cancer, and the gold ribbons represented childhood cancer. Juliana chose those ribbon colors to signify the battles many individuals and their loved ones fight. Students volunteered during their lunch hours to sell these ribbons to help make Juliana’s dream come true — to give back to the organization that helped restore her confidence and hope.

The club’s efforts raised $300 to support Wigs For Kids, and Juliana has created other fundraisers in support of Wigs For Kids, including a March Madness Bracket Challenge.
We are thankful for and proud of Juliana. She is positively impacting the lives of children and serving as an amazing role-model. Thank You from the Bottom of Our Hearts!
