“We all help each other through the hard things. I want to be there to help these children through their hard times,” says Sherrill. Sherrill Graff, owner of Creative Salon in Boulder City, Nevada, has been a dedicated volunteer stylist with Wigs For Kids for the past five years. A seasoned professional since 1983, Sherrill specializes in razor cuts, highlights, and color. Over the years, she has generously donated her time to cut the hair of many donors supporting children experiencing medical-related hair loss
A year ago, Sherrill became a Certified Service Provider for Wigs For Kids, allowing her to work directly with recipients like Naomi. She now assists with wig fittings, color matching, styling, and ongoing support.
“Wearing a human hair wig can significantly boost self-confidence, helping children to feel better about their appearance during a challenging time. Naomi is brave, and beautiful. Helping her with her new wig provided by Wigs For Kids has been a humbling privilege. What I love most with each recipient is seeing them admire themselves in the mirror. Where once was sadness is replaced by a radiant smile and a sparkle in their eye.“
Sherrill understands the emotional toll of hair loss, having watched several family members face cancer. Her compassion and commitment drive her to support others through similar challenges.
An incredible advocate for Wigs For Kids, Sherrill spreads awareness throughout her community and even hosts a Cut-A-Thon at a local event. We are deeply grateful for stylists like Sherrill who give so selflessly to help children regain their confidence.
