For most children, a first haircut is a memorable milestone. For 7-year-old Pryor, it became an opportunity to make a lasting difference in another child’s life.
An active young athlete, Pryor spends much of his time on the baseball field with his teammates on the Diamond Kings. After celebrating their first tournament victory of the season, Pryor made another meaningful achievement by donating his hair to Wigs For Kids.
By choosing to share his long hair with a child experiencing medical hair loss, Pryor transformed a personal milestone into a powerful act of kindness. His donation will help provide a child with a hand-made and free-of-charge hairpiece, durable enough to withstand 9 innings of intense play while comfortable enough to wear off the field.
The moment was made even more special by the people who surrounded him. Pryor’s father, a barber, performed the haircut, carefully sectioning his hair into multiple ponytails so that Pryor’s friends and teammates could each take part in the experience.
What began as a haircut became a meaningful lesson in compassion, generosity, and the impact that even one child can have on another.
When asked what he hopes his donation will mean to the child who receives it, Pryor shared a simple but powerful message:
“I wanted to share my hair with a child who needs it. I hope it helps you feel special and brings a big smile to your face!”

Pryor may be a champion on the baseball field, but his willingness to help another child proves that he is a champion off the field as well.
