Keri Polisak, a volunteer stylist for Wigs For Kids, recently held the 4th annual Show & Shine Car Show in Reno, Nevada. Keri is the owner of Revamp Salon, and has worked with our recipient Ellie for the last few years!
The event featured vintage and hot rod cars, a 50/50 raffle, music, food and fun for all! Ninety cars registered for the event and over 100 attendees enjoyed the festivities. Keri shared, “It takes a tribe to make these things successful. And I am beyond grateful for everyone who went above and beyond to contribute to a cause that I believe in.” Keri and her team raised an amazing $6,500, enough to sponsor more than 3 hairpieces for our recipients!
Ellie is very involved with the event each year, presenting a special trophy that is named in her honor.
From the car enthusiasts to the local businesses donating raffle items, we are grateful to the community that came together to support our kids and put the FUN in fundraising!
