The 3rd Annual It’s A Hair Raising Experience was recently held at Saint Ambrose Parish in Brunswick, OH. The event featured a Cut-A-Thon, fundraising activities, a Kids Corner, DJ and Back-to-School haircuts, all benefiting Wigs For Kids.
Eleven individuals gave generously of their hair, and other participants received Back-To School haircuts for a donation of $20. Attendees enjoyed a day of fun, inspiration, and support for children with medical related hair loss. With attendees support the event raised over $3,000.
Event organizer and volunteer stylist with Wigs For Kids, Erinn Lampert (pictured above), shared, “As the founder of this event, I am truly in awe of the generosity shown by so many—from financial donors and hair donors to the stylists who gave their time and talent. Being part of a community that stands with children during challenging times is incredibly rewarding, and I am deeply grateful to every participant.”
Fundraising is a part of the fun for us, especially when we pair WHAT we love in order to help WHO we love. Amazing supporters of our mission all over the globe have put on incredible fundraisers to help raise awareness for our programs and to continue helping families in need.
