A Family Affair at Nicki’s Barbershop

December 4, 2024

Each year on the day before Thanksgiving, Nicki’s Barbershop in Mentor, Ohio hosts a charity fundraiser. This year, Nicki’s owner Johnny Huszczo selected Wigs For Kids as the charity to support, and recruited the entire family to help.

Children, grandchildren, and extended family all participated in the fun, offering popcorn and balloon animals to clients who made donations at the barbershop.

Smiles and fun were shared by all, and Nicki’s Barbershop raised over $500 to help spread joy to children experiencing medical hair loss.

It’s incredible to see so many people rally to support our mission — Helping Children Look Themselves and Live Their Lives.

Each hairpiece provided by Wigs For Kids is carefully crafted from donated human hair and tailored specifically to the child’s head for a realistic, secure fit. The organization covers all costs. Families never have to pay for these hairpieces, allowing them to focus on supporting their child’s health and well-being.

Thank You to the Huszczo family and to all who participated in the event at Nicki’s Barbershop!
