Wigs For Kids is pleased to welcome stylist Emily Caldwell to the Wigs For Kids family. Emily shares her time and talents with our recipient families as a Certified Service Provider, providing support, expertise, and comfort to the children we serve.
Our Certified Service Providers meet with recipient families prior to creation of their hairpiece, taking careful measurements to determine the proper cap size, length, and color for each wig.
After the hairpiece is created, they meet with the families a second time to perform the cut-in and styling of the hairpiece. At this appointment, they also take the time to show our families how to properly maintain the child’s new wig after they leave the salon.
Wigs For Kids provides special training to stylists who want to help our kids. After completing her training, Emily now has all the tools needed to properly fit, measure and style a child’s hairpiece, which Wigs For Kids provides free of charge to families.
Emily is a distinguished Wig Specialist and Cosmetology Educator, with 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. She is one of the proud owners of Wig Alchemy, a specialty hair loss shop in Clayton, North Carolina. Her passion for this particular area in the cosmetology world is defined by her unwavering commitment to supporting clients through some of life’s most challenging and transformative moments.

Each and every day, Wigs For Kids relies on the generosity of stylists across the country, whether they are performing donation cuts, or working directly with recipient families. They share their time, talent, and expertise to make life better for kids dealing with hair loss.
Each year, more and more families apply for our services, which are always provided at no cost to the families. This means our need for hair donations, financial donations, and stylists to help our kids also continues to increase.
