We’re so thrilled to introduce you to Brandi, an integral part of our Recipient Department here at Wigs For Kids.
Brandi joined the Wigs For Kids team with a simple but powerful goal: to make a difference. After years in other roles, she wanted to apply her skills in a way that truly helps people.
“I wanted to work somewhere I could apply my skills from previous jobs towards one that would actually help and make a difference for people. This is my first time working for a non-profit and very different from my previous roles. I was looking forward to something out of my comfort zone.”
When asked what she finds most exciting about her work, Brandi says:
“When we have orders ready to ship and notifying families a hairpiece is on the way and following up with them after delivery, that’s the best part.”
One memory that stands out for her was seeing the process come full circle, receiving photos and heartfelt feedback from a mom for the very first time. Those moments remind her why she describes Wigs For Kids as Compassionate, Generous, and Dedicated.
Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering at her kids’ school, spending time with her husband, three kids, their dog, and four chickens. She also loves photography, gardening, and exploring the outdoors. And if you’re curious, her favorite color is red!
We’re so grateful for Brandi’s kindness and the care she brings to every family she supports. She truly embodies the spirit of Wigs For Kids.
