In 2017, Harry was at a crossroads, unsure of where his life was heading. At that time, a friend reached out and encouraged Harry to join Hair for Hope, a head-shaving campaign in Singapore that serves to raise awareness for childhood cancer. Harry agreed, and the experience was life-changing.
Harry shares, “That experience became a light in what felt like an endless tunnel. During the event, I met so many incredible people who were facing cancer and other medical challenges. Their strength and resilience left a lasting impression on me. They reminded me that life is beautiful, fragile, and worth fighting for. If they could face their struggles with such courage, I had no excuse to give up on mine. Their stories stayed with me, even from afar. Now, I want to give back and let them know they’re not alone. This is my way of supporting them, just as they unknowingly supported and inspired me during a time when I needed it most.”
Since that time, Harry has been growing his hair for donation. As he approaches his 27th birthday, he is dedicating the next month to fundraising for Wigs For Kids, with the goal of cutting and donating his hair in mid-March.
