We’re so proud of 12 year-old Brett, who is determined to make a difference through his hair donation to Wigs For Kids.
For the past three years, he’s been on an inspiring journey. What began on a whim quickly became a meaningful mission after he learned about hair donation. From that point forward, he committed to growing and caring for his hair with one heartfelt goal: helping another child feel comfortable and confident.
But Brett didn’t stop there. Wanting to make an even greater impact, he also launched a fundraiser to cover the cost of a recipient’s hairpiece — something Wigs For Kids always provides to families completely free of charge.
Brett shared a thoughtful message of encouragement for our recipients as well. We include these messages of support when we send families their measurement kits, the very first step in creating each hairpiece.
