Wigs For Kids is deeply honored to be the beneficiary of a heartfelt private event held in memory of Christina Sunga Ryook, who was tragically taken from us on September 11, 2001. For more than a decade, Christina’s family and friends have gathered annually to continue her legacy of service.
This year, in celebration of what would have been Christina’s 50th birthday, friends and family came together for a touching day of giving. The event featured two meaningful hair donations, including one from Christina’s best friend, Michelle.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, the group raised enough funds to cover the full cost of a wig for a child.
Founders Jeffrey and Zina Paul attended to show their support, witness the incredible impact of this ongoing tradition, and unveil a heartfelt tribute at Headquarters: a garden rock and plant in Christina’s memory.
