San Diego County golfers, get ready to tee off for a great cause!
We are honored to be the beneficiary of the 2nd Annual Wigs For Kids Charity Golf Tournament, happening at Dos Osos Golf Club in Escondido, California on Sunday, September 20th.
Jenna Elliot, a barber and stylist at Boulevard Barber and Shave, shares her time and talents with Wigs For Kids as both a Hair Donation Specialist, harvesting donation ponytails, and as a Certified Service Provider, assisting in the measurement and styling of hairpieces for our recipient kids.
Now, Jenna is increasing her support of Wigs For Kids through a variety of fundraisers including this annual golf outing!
Jenna shared, “Working with these families isn’t enough. Financial help is just as important. I am advocating for these children in hopes to bring some light to their lives. My passion became my mission, and my mission became my passion.”
The format for the event is a four-person scramble, with registration opening at 11:30 am and kickoff happening at 1 pm. Registration for this event is open now, with opportunities to purchase fun add-ons for the day including mulligans and raffle tickets. There are also opportunities for businesses to sponsor a hole, or even a hole-in-one contest! Details can be found here.
This event is also a Randy Jones’ Qualifier Tournament, so placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd will secure you an invite to the Randy Jones Invitational next year!
