Saturday November 15th, Christina's 50th Birthday at Wigs For Kids

Wigs For Kids is honored to be the beneficiary of a special event honoring the legacy of Christina Ryook, who was taken from us on September 11, 2001 while working on the 104th floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

Christina’s family and friends have gathered each year since to honor her legacy of service, including volunteering at Wigs For Kids for the last 10 years.

This year, on Christina’s 50th birthday, the group is also participating in a Cut-A-Thon and fundraiser, which includes a hair donation from Christina’ best friend, Michelle Han.  The group is hoping to raise enough funds to cover one hairpiece for a recipient.

Please note this is a CLOSED event that is not open to the public. Donations are encouraged to honor her memory and celebrate this special day of service.

Wigs For Kids would like to thank Christina’s family, Michelle, and the entire volunteer group for their support in memory of their loved one. Even though Christina is no longer with us, she is still impacting the lives of many children through the work of this group during this event. Christina will forever be in our hearts.
