Saturday May 17, 8th Annual Walleye for Kids Fishing Tournament

There will be a dinner of pulled pork sandwiches followed by a raffle.

Fishermen have gathered together for the past 8 years to participate in Walleye for Kids, raising thousands of dollars to benefit children with medical related hair loss. Mike, the organizer of the event, has a son who is a Wigs For Kids recipient. Mike’s son Austin is a burn survivor, and has had many hospital stays, surgeries and medical appointments over the years. Due to his burns, he lost most of his hair and will not have regrowth for the remainder of his life. Mike shared that his son Austin is the reason for Walleye for Kids.
