March Madness for a Cause Fundraiser for Wigs For Kids

Juliana is a recipient of Wigs For Kids. She wanted to give back to help more children and teens like herself to restore a sense of normalcy and confidence, allowing them to feel confident and empowered. Juliana was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma in May of 2024, her junior year of high school. Thankfully she is now in remission, and able to participate in and enjoy the many activities of her senior year. Juliana shared “Waiting for and receiving my wig gave me hope and confidence.”

Juliana wanted to use her energies to give back and support children facing hair loss. Playing off the various sports contests, Juliana created a Super Bowl Block Pool to raise funds for Wigs For Kids. The total raised, $1,200, will benefit children served by Wigs For Kids.

Due to the success of the Super Bowl Block Pool, Juliana received requests to host a March Madness Block Pool. Thanks to the help of her parents, she did!

Here is how it works:

March Madness Block Pools are unique in that they pay out based on the final score of each of the 62 tournament games. The prize amounts increase with each round, so the Final Four and National Championship games will have larger payouts compared to the first-round games. The best part is that your bracket won’t get busted after the first round! You’ll have a chance to win all the way through the Final Four!

Your numbers never change, they remain the same throughout the Tournament. Example 5 is your winning number and 9 is your losing number (Duke 55 – Villanova 49) Final score 5-9 wins. 🏀 🏀
