Wigs For Kids celebrates stylist Donna Beeba, who joined our efforts in 2024. Donna shares her time and talent with our recipient families as a Certified Service Provider, and also works with our ponytail donations as a Hair Donation Specialist. Donna is the owner of Donna’s Suite and has been working in the beauty industry for over 30 years.
Donna specializes in children’s and sensory cuts. Donna had the privilege to work with Sophie, the first recipient that she helped to prepare for her wig.
“Working with Sophie was a heartwarming experience,” stated Donna. She relayed that when Sophie had her visit at the salon, she had been recently discharged from the hospital and was not feeling well. When she returned for her wig styling, the transformation was nothing short of miraculous. Donna shared “Sophie was beaming with joy and walked with renewed confidence. It’s a powerful reminder that when we feel good on the inside it radiates outward, uplifting our entire being.”
Donna shared that she wanted to be involved with Wigs For Kids because of the positive impact she can have on children dealing with illnesses and hair loss.
Wigs For Kids appreciates the time and talent that stylists share to help children with medical related hair loss. They are building relationships with the families we serve, and working toward our shared goal of restoring each child’s hope and happiness.
Each and every day, Wigs For Kids relies on the generosity of stylists across the country, whether they are performing donation cuts, or working directly with recipient families. They share their time, talent, and expertise to make life better for kids dealing with hair loss.
Each year, more and more families apply for our services, which are always provided at no cost to the families. This means our need for hair donations, financial donations, and stylists to help our kids also continues to increase.
