Dashboard Confessional & Wicked Joyful Fundraiser Supports Wigs For Kids

February 3, 2026

Indie rock icons Dashboard Confessional recently turned nostalgia into real‑world impact by partnering with Wigs For Kids, creating a fundraiser that blended music memories with meaningful generosity.

Inspired by their hit song “Screaming Infidelities,” and its unforgettable chorus “Your Hair is Everywhere,” Dashboard founder Chris Carrabba and his wife reached out to artist Nick Lavallee of Wicked Joyful with a heartfelt idea: create something special that could celebrate a beloved song and support kids experiencing hair loss.

Together, they launched two limited‑edition collectibles, each one crafted not just for longtime fans, but for anyone who remembers what it felt like to grow up with Dashboard Confessional as the soundtrack to life’s earliest heartbreaks and victories.

Some songs stay with us forever. They play in our cars, echo through our coming‑of‑age memories, and remind us who we were, and who we still are. That’s why this collaboration resonated so deeply. It wasn’t just merchandise. It was a moment that allowed fans to give back through the very music that shaped them.

And the response was overwhelming.

Wicked Joyful’s Screaming Infidelities collectibles and action figures sold out in just 24 hours, transforming pure nostalgia into immediate support for children who need it most.

In total, this collaboration raised $961 for Wigs For Kids, covering half the cost of one of our hand-tied hairpieces, which are always provided at no cost to our recipient families.

A song, a memory, and a community all came together to make a difference. That’s something worth celebrating.

Thanks to support like this, we’ve helped over 1,000 kids in 2025 receive free wigs, and we’re on track to serve even more in 2026!
