Miranda is 11 years old and in the fifth grade. She like any other young child enjoys being active- participating in basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Favorite hobbies include making bracelets, eternal flowers, and drawing.
Miranda has experienced hair loss due to chemotherapy treatment. Miranda’s mother Sarai shared that Miranda joyously waited at the door for the UPS driver to arrive with her wig. And exclaimed when she put her wig on, “Mommy I look like myself again!”
Sarai stated, “Miranda has been very self-conscious about how she looks ever since she experienced hair loss. Today Wigs for Kids has brought her confidence and the biggest smile back to her! Thank you, Wigs for Kids, we are forever grateful for you bringing our daughter a ray of sunshine during her cancer journey!”
Miranda is working with Kasey a partner stylist from Andra K Salon. Kasey shared, “Miranda is a spunky young girl who is wonderful to work with! She is super excited to show off her new wig for future events such as her first communion! Miranda left my chair with her head held high ready to rule the day.”
