Meet Mary Bogner, Wigs For Kids Recipient

April 27, 2021

Because of donors and friends like you, we can continue our mission of providing hand-tied hairpieces to children across the United States, like six-year-old Mary Bogner.

We had the opportunity to connect with and send gratitude to Mary, part of the Wigs For Kids recipient family, after she hosted an incredible birthday fundraiser.

Mary has such a heart for this community and pure love of life. We hope she inspires you as much as she inspired us!

Here’s our conversation with Mary:

Q: Who do you look up to?

A: My mom because I love her and my cousin, Addy, who shaved her hair for kids with cancer and Alopecia.

Q: What makes you smile?

A: My family.

Q: What does the hairpiece mean to you?

A: A lot. I would love to have long hair to braid or put in a ponytail again.

Q. What is your wish for the world?

A: That everyone gets to know God.

Mary also sent this beautiful video for you:

You can also view it here on Facebook: Mary Supporting Wigs For Kids . We hope you enjoy it! And as always, your donations help us provide hair replacement systems at no cost, to children like Mary: Donate To Wigs For Kids.
