Long-Time Donor has Donated Three Times Her Height in Hair

September 4, 2020

Today we’re thrilled to share an extra special story, thanks to Narmadha Krishnan from Ooty, India!

Narmadha has always received compliments on her silky, straight hair, even with never having straightened or colored it. But more than compliments, she loved when kids would notice her hair or ask to play with it.

After seeing a feature about Wigs For Kids on television eight years ago, she began donating her hair—and hasn’t stopped. In that time, Narmadha has donated more than three times her height in hair to the Wigs For Kids family!

One of our recent Wigs For Kids recipient videos caught Narmadha’s attention. The young girl said it was her dream to have waist-long hair. Narmadha knew she wanted to help and decided to make her longest-ever donation. The result? She donated a whopping 42” of hair!

Narmadha shared how grateful she is to be able to donate and help our brave recipients. And we are so grateful for her.

Thank you for such an amazing gift, Narmadha!

With love,

The WFK Team
