Courage Critters to the Rescue

How Courage Critters Overcome Fear and Unwanted Behaviors

As a child, did you have a safety blanket or that one stuffed animal you carried around everywhere that made you feel better if you were scared or afraid? That’s the idea of Courage Critters, plush animals and online toolkits created for those suffering from common fears.

Created by Dr. Renae Reinardy, Courage Critters help children feel empowered, supported, and protected from fears and unwanted behaviors caused by disorders like Trichotillomania. They work because Courage Critters provide children with sensory tools to use to overcome their fears and manage behaviors like hair pulling.

In this episode of Hair Loss Solutions TV, you’ll hear more from Dr. Reinardy about:

  • What Courage Critters are
  • The creator behind these animals
  • How you can get your own Courage Critter
